Pre-registration is appreciated for Children’s Ministry.

Our children are gifts from God and valuable members of our church community. It is our desire to create a safe, nurturing, and spiritually formative environment for your children.

The goal of Hope Kids is to help children know Jesus’ saving love, and to understand their lives and the world around them in light of His story. We seek to come alongside families as they train children in godliness, working toward the hope that our children will grow in the wisdom and faith that God desires for each of us.

Sunday Morning Programs

9:00:
Classes from birth to 2nd grade. Children will begin the service with their parents before being dismissed to our Hope Kids area.

10:30: 3-5 grade class, meeting on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month.

11:00: There are no classes during our 11:00 service. Our nursery is open, with a live-stream of the service, should you need a quiet place to take your child.

A nursing room is available during both services with a live-stream from the service.

Hope Kids Core Values:

GOSPEL-CENTERED

At Hope Fellowship we believe that the only hope for our children is through Jesus Christ. Because of this, no amount of behavior modification or obedience can bring lasting change to a child’s heart. For that reason, our goal as a ministry of Hope Fellowship is to shepherd the hearts of our little ones towards faith and hope in Christ, not merely to align their behavior with Christian principles. We desire to help our children see that Jesus is their heart’s greatest desire and only hope.

FAMILY-SUPPORTED

The Bible teaches us that parents and the family are the primary disciplers of a child’s heart (Deut. 6:4-9). Additionally, we believe the Church and the home should be partners in the gospel. Hope Kids exists alongside parents as they disciple their children, and raise them in light of the gospel.

COMMUNITY-DRIVEN

It takes a community to raise a child. Just as in the home, we also desire for our children to grow up in a church family that models the gospel and helps to shape and prepare them to be healthy church members once they have placed their faith in Jesus Christ. One of the ways we seek to achieve this is by including children in the corporate worship services each Sunday before they are dismissed to their age-appropriate classrooms. To ensure the safety of our children, every Hope Kids volunteer is required to be a church member, have been involved in the life of our church for at least six months, and submit and periodically renew a National Background check.
